Barbara B. (Chapman) Casassa

Barbara B. (Chapman) Casassa, 87, a resident of Raynham, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. She was the wife of the late John A. Casassa. Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and educated in Boston schools. She was a graduate of Bentley College in Waltham. Barbara resided in Stoughton for 60 years before moving to Raynham 4 years ago. She was a bookkeeper at Instron Corporation in Canton for over 20 years before retiring at age 65.

Barbara was the mother of John Casassa and his wife Linda of Attleboro, Robert Casassa and his wife Susan of Taunton, JoAnn Flanagan and her husband Michael of Raynham and the late Marie Burns. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
