Augusto DaSilva

Augusto DaSilva, 68, a resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Friday, June 22, 2018. Son of the late Manuel and Josefa (Barbosa) DaSilva, he was born and raised in Cape Verde. Augusto was a proud veteran of the Portuguese Army. He was a resident of Stoughton since 2013 and worked at Necco Candy for several years. Augusto loved watching soccer and was a fan of the Portuguese National Team. He also enjoyed music and playing cards.

Augusto is survived by his son, Joao DaSilva of Portugal and a granddaughter. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, June 30 from 11 AM – 1 PM followed by Funeral Prayers at 1 PM. Interment will be private.
