Athena (Poulos) Parker

Athena (Poulos) Parker died peacefully at home on Saturday, June 30 with her children by her side. She was the wife of the late Dr. Charles S. Paraskis, DMD. She was a resident of Holbrook since 1958. Athena was well-known for her TV shows, seminars, courses and private consultations in personal achievement for over 25 years. She wrote a column for the Enterprise for over 30 years. She had a talk show on Channel 6 in Providence in the 1960's and also had a talk show on WXBR Radio in Brockton for several years. Athena's family would like to thank all the people she touched and in turn touched her through her columns, talk shows and most important-her many friends. So many brought passion and joy to her life-she loved you all.

Athena is survived by her children, Thalia C. "Candi" Paraskis and Charles S. Paraskis, Jr. She was the sister of Ann Poulos of West Bridgewater and the late Helen Nickolaow and Paul Poulos. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
