Arthur F. Taylor

Arthur F. Taylor, 81, died Tuesday, January 27, after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Barbara M. (Nunes) Taylor. Born in Sharon, he was a longtime resident of Sharon and a graduate of Sharon Schools. He was a resident of Cotuit since 1998. Mr. Taylor was a WWII Veteran of the US Navy. He was the owner of Taylor Chevrolet in Sharon for many years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Barnstable Newcomers Club and the Norfolk Beekeepers Club and the Osterville Men's Club. In his free time, he enjoyed all types of fishing, bowling and entertaining family and friends.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his children: Arthur F. Taylor, Jr. of Norton, Susan M. Arseneault and Jane McDuffee both of Lynnfield, Ellen Pennifold of Upton, Mary Logan of FL and James E. Taylor of Norfolk. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Margaret's Church, 141 Main St., Buzzards Bay on Saturday, Feb 7th at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Omitted.
