Arthur Edward Hudson

Arthur Edward Hudson, 91, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. He was the husband of the late Marilyn L. (Demers) Hudson. Son of the late Arthur and Dora (St. Jean) Hudson, he was born and raised in Cambridge. He graduated from Sisters of Notre Dame High School in Cambridge. Arthur was a resident of Stoughton since 1969. He worked for Stop & Shop for over 40 years before retiring several years ago. After his retirement, he continued working part-time at Canton Sportsplex for several years.

Arthur was the father of Lawrence Hudson of Stoughton, Denise McKeever and her husband Kevin of Cedar Park, TX, Phillip Hudson and his wife Susan of Kissimmee, FL, Mark Hudson and his wife Linda of Stoughton and the late Ronald Hudson and Cheryl Hudson. He was the brother of Ruth Getsick of Concord and the late Elaine McAuliffe, Beatrice Caruso, Rita Carney, Robert Hudson and Jeannette Berndt. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, October 24 from 10-11 AM followed by a graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery, 175 Broadway, Malden.
