Arnold J. Quintiliani, 77, a longtime resident of Brockton, died peacefully after a long illness at Brockton Hospital on Sunday, February 16, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jacqueline M. (Seaver) Quintiliani for 49 years. Son of the late Arnaldo J. and Concetta M. (Spagnuolo) Quintiliani, he was born in Boston and raised in Quincy. He was a graduate of Quincy High School. Arnold was a resident of Brockton for the past 45 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves for several years. Arnold was a computer programmer for John Hancock Life Insurance Company in Boston for 40 years before retiring at age 57. He was a longtime youth baseball and basketball coach for his son's teams. He enjoyed playing golf, racquetball and traveling to Aruba, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was known for his loving, caring and generous personality.
In addition to his wife, Arnold is survived by his beloved son, Anthony J. Quintiliani and his wife Stephanie of Braintree, as well as his grandchildren, Siena and Leo Quintiliani. He was the brother of the late Gerald Quintiliani and is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Friday, February 21 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Arnold's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
