Arlene G. (Trombley) Fowler

Arlene G. (Trombley) Fowler, 85, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Tuesday, October 4 in North Carolina after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Harold C. Fowler, Jr. Born in Concord, she was a graduate of Maynard Schools. Mrs. Fowler was a resident of Stoughton for over 50 years before moving to North Carolina in 2007. She was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, walking and baking. She was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan and very much enjoyed attending the theatre and traveling.

Mrs. Fowler is survived by her three daughters, Catherine A. Willock of NC, Sharon Eaton of RI and Barbara Dernier of FL. She was the sister of the late Arthur Trombley and Alice Hackla. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday, October 11 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Arlene's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
