Antonio Vieira Ramos, 80, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. He was the husband of Maria I. (Sousa) Ramos for 56 years. Son of the late Jose and Filomena (Vieira) Ramos, he was born and raised in Lomba, Flores, Azores, Portugal. He moved to Stoughton in 1980. Antonio worked for Solar Seal in Easton after working for Ark-Les Switch in Stoughton and Cumberland Farms before retiring at age 65. He was a member of Club Luis de Camoes in Stoughton and was a member of the Holy Ghost Society of the Azores at the club. He was an avid fan of Benfica soccer club in Portugal. He enjoyed gardening, in particular grape vines but his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Antonio is survived by his sons, Mario A. Ramos and his wife Julie and Jose A. Ramos and his wife Brittany all of Stoughton. He was the grandfather of Cameron Ramos and his wife Lisa, Ethan Ramos, Lucas Ramos and the late Marissa Ramos. He was the brother of the late Maria Dias, Jose Ramos, Francisco Ramos, Joao Ramos and Mario Ramos and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
