Antonina "Lena" (Accaputo) Romano, 90, died at Braemoor Rehab. and Nursing Center in Brockton on Monday, November 6 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Liborio L."Leo" Romano for 67 years. Born in Boston, Mrs. Romano was educated in Somerville schools. She had resided in Brockton since 1977 after living in the North End for several years. She was a Supervisor at Forecaster of Boston in Boston and Avon for 10 years before retiring in 1981. Mrs. Romano was a member of the International Garment Workers Union. In her free time she enjoyed Bingo, Foxwoods, traveling and dancing.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Romano is survived by her children, Louis Romano of the North End, Vincenza "Vincie" Romano of CA and Paula Romano of Stoughton, as well as her grandchildren, Danielle Sinopoli, Michael Romano, Nikole Kelleher and Justin Irwin. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Romano and her siblings, Anthony Accaputo and Filomena Accaputo. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, November 9 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Edith Stein Church, Brockton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial will take place at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
