Anthony F. “Tony” Rocha, 80, died Thursday, March 13, 2025 at his home in Stoughton, after a period of declining health. He was the husband of Irene G. “Sissy” (Conley) Rocha. Born in Brockton, he was raised and educated in Easton and was a 1964 graduate of Oliver Ames High School in Easton. He also attended Massasoit Community College. In May of 1965, he joined the US Army and spent almost 2 years serving overseas and in Vietnam before his Honorable Discharge in 1968. He was a resident of Stoughton since 1965. Tony was a longtime employee of Raytheon and worked in Norwood, Walpole and Andover. He retired in 2015 with over 44 years of service. He was a nature lover who enjoyed a good math problem to work on. He was always active and had dozens of hobbies but his favorite one was playing the guitar. He was a gifted guitar player and enjoyed playing as often as he could. As a young man, he earned his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying and astronomy. Above all, he loved to be surrounded by his family and his friends.
In addition to his wife Irene “Sissy” Rocha of Stoughton, he is survived by his two sons, Anthony F. Rocha, Jr. of NH and Richard M. Rocha and his wife Heather of Norton. He was the father of the late Julie A. Rocha. He was the loving Grampa of Crystal and Max Rocha and is also survived by their mother Cynthia Rocha.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, March 21 from 8:30-10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Easton at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Easton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony’s memory may be made to Spina Bifida Association, 2000 Duke St., Suite 300, Alexandria, VA 22314 or to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. P.O.
