Annie A. (Dykens) Crawford, 98, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Monday, March 25, 2019. She was the wife of the late Francis A. Crawford for 73 years. Daughter of the late Fred and Lucy (Wood) Dykens, she was born in Boston and raised in South Boston. Annie attended South Boston High School. She was a resident of Stoughton for 59 years. Annie was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting and cooking.
Annie was the mother of Ernest R. Crawford and his fiancé Diane Allen of Stoughton, Janice Carroll and her husband Ed of Gilmanton, NH and the late Frank Crawford, Jr. and Robert Crawford. She was the mother-in-law of Joanne Crawford of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada and Sophia Crawford of Lubbock, TX. She was the grandmother of George, Ernest, Deborah, Terri, Christine, Michael, Megan and Matthew. She was the great-grandmother of Tiffany, Sarah, Nathaniel, Jacqueline, Carissa, Kyle, Mikaela and Mikey and great-great grandmother of Maleki, Elijah and Celeste. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, March 30 at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Annie's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
