Anne Garabedian

Anne Y. (Papaz) Garabedian, 94, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John Garabedian and Nelson E. Cormier. Born in Worcester, she was raised in and educated in Worcester and was a graduate of Commerce High School in Worcester. Mrs. Garabedian was a resident of Easton for the last 10 years, previously living in Quincy for many years. She worked for the City of Quincy as the Health Insurance & Retirement Assistant in the Treasurer's Office for many years, retiring over 30 years ago. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting, bingo and spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Lois Cheney and her husband Peter of Middleboro and Dennis Cormier and his wife Sharon of Stoughton. She was the sister of the late Joseph Papaz and Marion Papaz and was the beloved grandmother of Brian E. Cormier of Easton and Jason C. Cormier of Norwood.
