Anna M. (Hayward) Eagles, 85, died Thursday, November 30, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Howard K. Eagles. Born and raised in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1950. She also attended Massasoit Community College in Brockton for her Certificate in Dental Assistance. Mrs. Eagles was a resident of Canton for over 60 years. She worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Bernard Howes in Stoughton for many years, retiring several years ago. Mrs. Eagles was a longtime skating instructor in the Learn to Skate Program in the Quincy Recreation Department and at the Ponkapoag Rink in Canton. She was a member of the Professional Skaters Guild of America. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and animals.
Mrs. Eagles was the sister of the late William G. Hayward and Donald E. Hayward. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Private family services were held at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Anna's memory may be made to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
