Anna-Catherine Annie Allen

Anna-Catherine "Annie" (Hawko) Allen, 43, died Friday, November 21, 2014 at her home in Middleboro. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mrs. Allen was also a graduate of UMass Dartmouth, Class of 1992. She was a resident of Middleboro for the past 18 years and worked as a Mental Health Assistant at the Department of Corrections at Bridgewater State Hospital in Bridgewater for the past 11 years. She was a devoted and loving mother to her two daughters and loved her dogs Bianca, Bailey and Brody. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and spending time with her friends and family.
She was the loving mother of Caitlyn Allen and Christianna Allen both of Middleboro and the daughter of Annette M.(Hawko) Klabin and her husband Don of Chestnut Hill and Marcelo Obando, MD of HI. She was the niece of Patricia and Michael Mello of Raynham, Thomas & Louisa Hawko of Randolph, Mary & Tom Ambrose of TX and Kathleen and Michael Jacobs of Tewksbury. She is also survived by her beloved cousins Daniel, Michael and Peter Mello and several other cousins. She was predeceased by her cousin Kerry Mello.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday, November 25 from 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Annie's Memory may be made to the Kerry Mello Memorial Fund, Mass Hospital School, 3 Randolph St., Canton, 02021.
