Ann (Doucette) McCabe

Ann (Doucette) McCabe, 86, a resident of Bridgewater, died at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, March 10, 2016. She was the wife of the late William J. McCabe, Jr. Born and raised in Wakefield, she was a graduate of Wakefield High School. Ann resided in Bridgewater for the past 7 years after living in Stoughton for 50 years. She was an office manager at BFI Industries in Brockton for 30 years before retiring in 1998. She was a voracious reader who also enjoyed bird watching and feeding, gardening, dining out and especially spending time with her family.

Mrs. McCabe is survived by her sons, Michael C. McCabe and his wife Dena of Southampton, Daniel C. McCabe and his wife Christine of West Bridgewater and William K. McCabe and his wife Lan of Edmond, OK. She was the grandmother of Drake, Colby, Patrick, Marissa, Sophia and William McCabe and the great-grandmother of Hayden Cruz. She is also survived by several dear friends.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, March 17 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Ann's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
