Ann Marie (Murray) O'Connor

Ann Marie (Murray) O’Connor, 77, a longtime resident of Mashpee, died peacefully at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis on Tuesday, December 7, 2022.  She was the wife of John J. O’Connor for 59 years.  Daughter of the late Michael and Elsie (St. Croix) Murray, she was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester.  She was a Class of 1962 graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School in South Boston.  Ann Marie was a resident of Stoughton for 32 years before moving to Mashpee 23 years ago.  She was an assistant occupational therapist at Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton for 12 years before retiring in 1986.  She loved animals but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Ann Marie was the mother of John M. O’Connor and his wife Susan of Boston and the late Paul B. O’Connor.  She was the grandmother of Paul B. and Taylor Rose O’Connor.  She was the sister of the late Robert and Michael Murray, Helen Brown, Marion Hussey and Jean McNulty and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Friday, December 9 at 10:30 AM.  Visiting Hours omitted.  Interment will take place at Canton Corner Cemetery, Canton.  Donations in Ann Marie‘s memory may be made to the Transplant Fund C-O, Fresenius Medical Care Foundation, Inc., PO Box 789236, Philadelphia, PA 19178-9236 (Transplant Fund C-O, Fresenius Medical Care Foundation, Inc.,)
