Ann F. (Creed) MacGowan

Ann F. (Creed) MacGowan, 82, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton Schools. She also completed studies at Rhode Island School of Design. Ms. MacGowan was a resident of Arlington for the past 15 years. She was a past board member of the Arlington Council on Aging, the Arlington Senior Center and the Arlington Catholic Women's Club. In her free time, she enjoyed painting.

Ms. MacGowan was the Beloved Mother of Robert K. MacGowan and his wife Mary Jo of Webster, NH and Susan A. MacGowan of Nashua, NH. She was the sister of Jane P. Vera of Arlington and the late Jack "Porky" Creed. She was the former wife of the late Robert W. MacGowan. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Edith Stein Church, Brockton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Donations in Ann's memory may be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054.
