Ann M. (Chapman) Leary, 75, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton on Friday, January 5, 2018. She was the wife of the late Clement J. Leary. Daughter of the late William M. and Grace M. (DeGregorio) Chapman, she was born in Stoughton. Ann was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1960 and earned her Associate Degree from Northeastern University. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Recupero in Stoughton for 5 years before becoming a homemaker at home with her family. She enjoyed reading and trips to Cape Cod but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Ann is survived by her children, Kelly A. Kenneally and her husband Martin of Bridgewater, Clement J. Leary, Jr. and his wife Jannette of Abington and Erin M. Silver and her husband Sean of Easton. She was the devoted grandmother of Isabella Kenneally, Owen and Colin Leary and Griffin and Will Silver. She was the sister of William D. Chapman of Scituate and Robert G. Chapman of West Bridgewater and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Thursday, January 11 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
