Ann M. (Callahan) Greene, 92, died Monday, September 7, 2015 at her home after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late John R. Greene. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Mission Hill and was a graduate of Mission Hill Schools. Known as "Nana Greene", her door was always open to friends and family. Mrs. Greene was a resident of Stoughton for over 40 years. She was an energetic, sassy and full of life woman who never took no for an answer. In her free time, she enjoyed camping and spending time on Cape Cod, the islands and in Florida.
Ann was the beloved mother of James F. Hanlon of FL, John W. Hanlon, John R. Greene, Nancy M Mulcahy and Kerry A. Greene all of Stoughton, Susan M. Burke and her husband Paul of Mansfield and the late William T. Greene. Her purpose in life was her 7 children, 20 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, September 14 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-6 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
