Ann R. Beatty, 75, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at Braemoor Health Center in Brockton on Thursday, October 9, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Mary Alice (Revane) Beatty. Born in Brighton, she was raised in Billerica and graduated from Billerica Memorial High School, Class of 1958. She resided in Stoughton for the past 46 years. Ann worked for Johnson & Johnson for over 25 years before retiring in 2001. She loved her dogs and enjoyed playing Bingo and taking trips to Maine. Ann was very proud of her Irish heritage and was very mechanically inclined. She was known as "Auntie Ann" by all who knew and loved her.
Ann was the sister of Margaret T. "Peggy" Falvey of Stoughton, Joseph P. Beatty of Middleboro, Francis A. Beatty of Leesburg, FL, and the late Mary V. Chapman, Austin, John, Michael and James Beatty. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a great-great nephew.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, October 14 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
