Angelo C. Viveiros

Angelo C. Viveiros, 78, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Norwood Hospital on Saturday, April 15, 2017. He was the husband of Eliza (Serpa) Viveiros. Son of the late Henriques C. and Maria (Gomes) Viveiros, he was born and raised in Flores, Azores, Portugal. He resided in Stoughton since 1965. Angelo worked for Stoughton Elastic Web in Stoughton for several years then worked in housekeeping at Cardinal Cushing Hospital in Brockton before retiring many years ago. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed going to the beach and doing carpentry work.

In addition to his wife, Angelo was the father of Gorett M. Viveiros of Stoughton, Lucy M. Noia and her husband Nelson of Dallas, GA and the late Angela M. Viveiros. He was the grandfather of Zachary DiMona-Viveiros and Ireland Patrick. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, April 20 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
