Andrew R. Denneno, 82, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died at the VA Medical Center in Brockton on Friday, May 1, 2015. He was the husband of Lois K. (Andersen) Denneno. Son of the late Andrew P. and Anna J. (Polillio) Denneno, he was born in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1952. Andrew served in the U.S. Navy and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a salesman for Kraft Foods in Charlestown for 20 years before retiring 20 years ago. Mr. Denneno was a devoted musician who played in several bands and also taught music for many years. He loved animals and boating and kept his boat at Marina Bay in Quincy for many years. He was a member of the D.A.V.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Denneno is survived by his sons, Robert A. Denneno of Falmouth and Andrew P. Denneno and his wife Sandra of Raynham, and his grandchildren, Samantha, Anabella and Andrew, Jr. He was the brother of Lorraine Bertolino of Stoughton and the late Frank Denneno and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, May 5 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Andrew's memory may be made to the MSPCA, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
