Amy Lynn Walent

Amy Lynn Walent, 56, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at the Dr. Ruth McLain Hospice Home in Braintree on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Daughter of the late Walter A. and Merelyn A. (Tobey) Walent, she was born in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School. She worked for Copy, Inc. in Stoughton, and DocuPrint in West Bridgewater before retiring in 2018. She enjoyed working in her yard and around her house. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends.

Amy is survived by cousins, Jean and John and her dear friends, Jane Piver and Israel Vasquez as well as many other friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington St., Stoughton on Friday, August 30 at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Amy’s memory may be made to MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130 (https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/boston-adoption-center/).
