Alyce J. (Allen) Holyoke, 63, died Tuesday, March 27, at the Brockton Hospital in Brockton due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis. She was the wife of Ronald R. Holyoke. Born in Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton Schools. Mrs. Holyoke worked as a housekeeper in several area homes for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and swimming.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Ronald R. Holyoke of Avon, Lori A. Bunce of Plymouth, John J. Holyoke of N. Attleboro, Cindy L. Holyoke of Attleboro, Gineean M. Holyoke of Walpole and Matthew S. Jaye of CO. She was the sister of Leo J. Allen of Middleboro, Kathleen Caldwell and Christine Stack both of NH, Joanne Capeau of Brockton, James Allen of SC, Debra Butler of NJ, Mary LaFlamme of Wareham and Arlene Allen of Bourne. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday Night, March 30 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 6 PM to 7PM. Donations in Alyce's name may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A First Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451. Burial will be private.
