Alice G. (Marcinkus) Valutkevich, 95, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Friday, June 27, 2014. She was the wife of the late Frank C. Valutkevich. Born and raised in South Boston, she was educated in South Boston schools. Mrs. Valutkevich was a cafeteria worker at Stoughton High School for many years before retiring 30 years ago. She was a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Stoughton and the Mother of Twins Association.
Mrs. Valutkevich is survived by her children, John F. Valutkevich of Sutton, Paul V. Valutkevich of Eliot, ME, Karen A. Sheridan of Springfield, OR, Lenore F. White of Duxbury and Lorna A. Flanagan of Plymouth. She was the sister of the late Vito Marcinkus and Anna "Ona" Marini. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday, July 1 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 5-7 PM. Interment will take place at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
