Alice M. Podchalski

Alice M. (Morey) Podchalski, 77, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at home on Tuesday, August 17 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Walter Podchalski. Born and educated in Boston, she was a resident of Stoughton for many years. Mrs. Podchalski worked in the Finance Department of the Department of Welfare in Boston for over 30 years before retiring 3 years ago.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Podchalski was preceded in death by her son, Walter Podchalski. She was the sister of Virginia D. Smith and her husband Harry of Rochester, NH and the late Louise Gambell, Pearl Maher, George Morey and Charles Morey. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Lorelle Podchalski, her great-granddaughter Carli and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, August 21 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Burial will be private.
