Alice M. (Enos) Petruzzo, 78, died at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater on Wednesday, January 2 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Albie R. Petruzzo. Born in Boston, she was a graduate of Roslindale High School. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1950. Mrs. Petruzzo was a homemaker. She was a volunteer archivist and Past President for the Stoughton Historical Society. She was Chairperson for the Stoughton Railroad Station restoration project. Mrs. Petruzzo was Past Director of the MSFWC and was active with the Fieldbrook Young Woman's Club in Stoughton. Mrs. Petruzzo was a very active communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton and also taught CCD for many years.
Mrs. Petruzzo is survived by her children, Michael C. Petruzzo of Lakeville, John Petruzzo of Marstons Mills, Matthew Petruzzo of Brockton and Christina Webb of Worcester as well as her sister, Isabel Goode of Westwood. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Sienkiewicz. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, January 7 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-6 PM. Burial will take place at Dry Pond Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Alice's memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
