Alice M. McKain

Alice M. McKain, 63, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Saturday, October 12, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Alice was the daughter of the late Gerald and Claire (Coughlin) Gaudet. Alice was born in Boston and graduated from Stoughton High School. Alice worked as a cashier at Bob's Famous Foodmart in Stoughton. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing, computers, her pet cats and watching her favorite tv shows, including The Bachelor, Big Brother and Hell's Kitchen.

Alice was the sister of Darlene Smith of Stoughton, Susan Orso and her husband Ron of Raymond, NH and the late Denise Birchmore, Steve Gaudet and Bobby McKain. She was the loving aunt of Sandra Birchmore and Gerald Smith both of Stoughton and Ray Cosgrove of Raymond, NH.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Monday, October 21 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alice's memory may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or Boston Children's Hospital, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215.
