Alice J. (Samowski) Mann

Alice J. (Samowski) Mann, 84, a resident of Easton, died peacefully at Foremost at Sharon on Monday, March 25, 2024. She was the wife of the late Royal E. Mann. Daughter of the late Joseph M. and Judith (Laskowska) Samowski, she was born in Boston and raised in Holbrook. She was a graduate of Holbrook High School, Class of 1958. Alice lived in Randolph for 30 years before residing in Easton since 2011. She worked at LTX in Dedham for 10 years before retiring over 20 years ago. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, puzzles and traveling but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Alice is survived by her children, Deborah M. Garner and her partner Robert Long of Brockton, Royal J. Mann and his wife Nancy of Mansfield and Robert L. Mann and his wife Kimberly of Easton. She was the grandmother of Dawn Marie Bongiorno and her husband Peter, Stephanie Garner, Paul Garner, Jessica Mann, Nicole Morton and her husband Daniel, Samantha Mann and Cody Mann and great-grandmother of Mariah, Raquel and Gennaro. She was the sister of Dianne Lalli of Bridgewater and the late Paul and Joseph Samowski. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.   

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, March 29 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alice‘s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 401 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (https://www.stjude.org/).
