Alice C. Fitzgerald

Alice C. Fitzgerald, 87, of Stoughton, formally of Dorchester and Braintree, passed away peacefully, in her sleep on September 26, 2014. She spent her life in loving service to her family, her church and God. She was a wonderful example of love to everyone who knew her, a devout Catholic, who always put the needs of others before her own. She was a loving wife to her husband of 61 years, Peter, and will be sorely missed in his life. She was caring and devoted mother of Donna Wolfrum and her husband Ted of Stoughton, Peter Fitzgerald and his wife Ellen of Westbury, NY, Paul Fitzgerald and his wife Peggy of Taunton and Mary Roane and her husband Kevin of Stoughton. Alice is also survived by her dearest lifetime friend Alberta Smith, 9 grandchildren and many cherished cousins, relatives and friends. All are invited to celebrate her life at visiting hours from 4-8pm on Tuesday September 30, 2014 at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton, MA 02072. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 560 Page St., Stoughton, MA, followed by internment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 990 Lagrange St., West Roxbury, MA 02132.
