Alice L. "Dolly" (Richards) Civitarese

Alice L. "Dolly" (Richards) Civitarese, 85, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully on Friday, June 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Richard T. Civitarese for 66 years. Daughter of the late Ernest F. and Katherine J. (Doherty) Richards, she was born in Boston and raised in Mattapan. Dolly was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. She resided in Stoughton since 1964. Dolly was an inspector at LTX for 15 years and the Foxboro Company for 15 years before retiring in 2000. An avid Red Sox fan, she also enjoyed crocheting, painting, playing cards with her many friends and lunches with her sisters-in-law but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Dolly is survived by her daughters, Kathy-Ann Davis and her husband Kevin Davis, Jr. of Stoughton and Donna M. Wood and her husband Carleton Wood, III of Brockton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Richard Wood, Jason Wood, Matthew Wood and Corey Wood as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, June 13 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 9:30-11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dolly's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
