Alice M. (Liponis) Carabatsos, 78, died at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, September 18 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Chris J. Carabatsos. Born in Allston, she was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1947. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1950. Mrs. Carabatsos was the office manager for Dr. Carriere and Dr. Mulcahy in Stoughton for 18 years before helping her son, John with his dental practice in Brockton for 10 years. She retired in 1998. In her free time, she loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Carabatsos is survived by her children, Elaine V. Seitsinger and her husband Mark of Stoughton and John T. Carabatsos, DMD and his wife Kimberley DePra of Easton, as well as her grandchildren, Alex and Kali Seitsinger and Julia Carabatsos. She was the sister of William Liponis of NH and the late Amelia Giannaros and Ethel Filides. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Gregory the Theologian Greek Orthodox Church, 1007 West St., Mansfield on Monday, September 22 at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday 2-5 PM. Burial will take place at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
