Alexander K. "Kenny" DeBassio, III, 56, died at the Brockton Hospital on Monday, December 25 after a brief illness. He was the husband of Penny W. (Webb) DeBassio. Born in Boston, he was educated in Mission Hill and Stoughton schools and attended Massasoit Community College in Brockton. Mr. DeBassio was a self-employed carpenter for many years before retiring last year. He volunteered annually at the New England Flower Show in Boston. He was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his wife, Mr. DeBassio is survived by his daughter, Kendall M. DeBassio of Stoughton and his siblings, Evelyn Jodoin of FL, Allan "Joe" DeBassio of Watertown and David DeBassio of Wayland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, December 29 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 4-7 PM. Burial will be private.
