Dr. Albert Farley Allaire died on Friday, May 16 after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Banks) Allaire. Born in Brockton, he was a longtime resident of Brockton before moving to Foxborough 12 years ago. Dr. Allaire was a graduate of Boston College, Class of 1951 and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II as a medic in Saipan and Guam. Dr. Allaire was in private practice for 43 years in Brockton. He was an active member of the American Dental Assn., the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the South Shore District Dental Society. He was a lifelong member of Thorny Lea Golf Club and the Brockton Y.M.C.A.
In addition to his wife, Dr. Allaire is survived by his children, Dr. Janet Allaire and her husband Dr. Marc A. Greer of North Hampton, NH, Robert F. Allaire and his wife Diane of Westwood, Suzanne King and her husband Richard of Medway and Nancy Watts and her husband Brian of Foxborough. He was the beloved grandfather of Michael and Lauren Greer, John and Erin Allaire, Timmy, Kevin, Ryan and Robert King and Jack and Tommy Watts. He was the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Albert J. Allaire and brother of the late Madeline O'Neill and Constance Allaire.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, May 20 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket, RI. Contributions in Albert's memory (Albert F.
