Alan J. Rams

Alan J. Rams, 59, a resident of Pembroke, died peacefully at the Brockton Hospital on Sunday, August 21, 2016. He was the husband of 22 years of Rosemarie P. (Pellegrino) Rams. Son of Marian J. (Poznak) Rams of Stoughton and the late Leonard A. Rams, he was born in Boston and raised in Hyde Park and Stoughton. Alan was a graduate of Stoughton High School and Massasoit Community College. He resided in Pembroke since 1998. Alan was a technician at IBM in Waltham for 35 years before retiring this April. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife and mother, Alan is survived by his children, Melanie J. Rams of Pembroke, Jasmin C. Rams of Salem, NH and Alan J. Rams, Jr. of Pembroke. He was the brother of Vincent L. Rams, Sr. and his wife Donna of Lakeville and the late Leonard A. Rams, III. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, August 26 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alan's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
