Adolf R. Jackle, 75, a resident of Brockton, died at Southeast Rehabilitation and Care Center in Easton on Saturday, May 7, 2016. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in West Roxbury. Adolf was the owner of Jackle's Bakery in Brockton for many years. He then worked for his son at O'Brien's Bakery in Quincy before retiring 5 years ago. He was a member of the Mass. Retailer Bakery Association. In his free time he enjoyed racing pigeons.
Mr. Jackle was the father of Brian K. Jackle and his wife Melissa of Bridgewater and the late Scott Jackle. He is also survived by his great-granddaughter, Isabella and his siblings, Karl Jackle of Stoughton and Ruth Reed of Hull. He was the former husband of Muriel (Taber) Jackle of Brockton.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday, May 15 from 3-5 PM. Funeral service and interment will be private. Family requests please omit flowers.
