Adeline F. (LaCivita) Costa, 88, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died at Hellenic Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Canton on Monday, December 7 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of 66 years of Manuel A. Costa. Daughter of the late Michael and Frances (Crugnale) LaCivita, she was born and educated in Stoughton. Mrs. Costa was a homemaker. She also worked side by side with her husband Manny at A& M Atlantic in Stoughton as his accountant for many years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Costa was the loving mother of Lorraine F. Theriault and her husband Jim of Avon, Donna M. Costa of Stoughton and Valarie L. Brandt and her husband Steve of Raynham. She was the devoted grandmother of Kelly Ann O'Neil of Easton and the late William Joseph O'Neil and the proud great-grandmother of Rachel Marie. She was the loving sister of Michael LaCivita of Stoughton, Christine Comeau of Taunton and the late Anthony LaCivita, John LaCivita, Catherine Murphy, Mary Techiera and Ann Farrington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, December 11 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Adeline's name may be made to Hellenic Nursing & Rehab.
