Adelina Barros

Adelina (Soares) Barros, 96, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Manuel A. Barros. Born in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal, she was raised and educated in Santa Maria. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1976. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Barros is survived by her daughter, Sofia S. Lopes of Stoughton and her 7 sons; Luis S. Barros, Guilherme S. Barros, Isidro S. Barros, Jose S. Barros and Silvino S. Barros all of Stoughton, Eduardo S. Barros of Portugal and Juliao S. Barros of Canada. She was predeceased by 1 brother and 3 sisters. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, December 7 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
